Hi,
I'm going to be in New York on the 23rd, the night of the Pajama Game Opening Night, and I was wonderig if Broadway shows typically do anything special before/after for opening nights, such as red carpet??? I know a lot of big stars usually show up to opening nights, especially with such a star-studded cast, so I'm trying to find the best way to ctach of glimpse of some of the action and excitement
Thanks!
i've seen on video clips of other bway shows opening that they have a big crowd with press and stuff, but anyone heard about whats going on w/ PJ Game???
are tickets going to be hard to come by for 'the pajama game'? i was hoping to go for my birthday in a few months and i'm curious as to how early i should get the tickets..

Your questions answered:
BwayFanatic - Generally, there are no red carpets on opening nights. However, you can go celebrity spotting by the theater. Sit in the restaurant next door and watch the crowd...whatever is your pleasure.
Dramaqueen2 - Tickets are generally hard to come by for this production, especially since its only playing until June 11 (the extension was prematurely reported and since cancelled, as Mr. Connick has prior commitments). I'd recommend getting them ASAP.

All I have to say is don't count on getting general rush seats. They generally don't have them. The show is sold out practically every night. I'd buy in advance! It's a phenomenal show! I really suggest seeing it!
