Is there one?

Yes, it's around the back. Follow the patio along side the pond and it'll be on your left.

Right. It is by the back parking lot.
Follow the brook which in the olden days provided water power for the paper mill on the site thus the name for the theatre.

Thanks. Can't wait for Thursday!
I've never been to the Paper Mill before, but just hearing the description (pond, brook, patio, etc) makes it sound so quaint!

The pond is very small man-made one with fish next to the Carriage House restaurant that is right next to Paper Mill.
When I was there to see a Sunday matinee of The Baker's Wife, they had a grill outside on the patio and they were selling hot dogs before the show. Don't know if they do this all the time.
It really is a peaceful relaxing place. A 5 minute walk takes you to "downtown" Millburn. Oh, there's only one restaurant in Millburn that has a liquor license. Otherwise, it is BYOB.
so i assume all the actors will come out of this stage door to meet people? has anyone been there?

I went there to see 'The Baker's Wife' unexpectedly (I was walking there to hand in my application. Somehow my mom knew I was on my way there, so she bought a ticket for me (it was lovely, IMO)). I wanted to go to the door, but I didn't know where it was, and was a bit bashful to ask
If you do decide to go around back to the stage door... and you really should, don't waste too much time getting back there.
Paper Mill Playhouse provides vans to transport NYC cast members from Manhattan and back again after the show. Depending on who's driving, the vans don't wait around too long before they take off.
So, if you've been waiting patiently to talk to someone who suddenly turns and sprints over to the brown van pulling away; don't feel slighted, they just don't want to miss their ride home.
We were at the Sunday night performance and this production of Ragtime is wonderful. ENJOY!
It depends on the show as to which actors come out to greet audience members. I saw "The Tale of the Allergist's Wife" there twice and both times the leads came out. I and my friend were the only ones waiting there but, needless to say, they signed everything for us.
