I was asked to design the lighting for a production of this in a very intimate space and am very excited.
Could someone tell me a little about it. Sure, there is Google, but I want to know about it from YOU guys...
Kathy and Mo is one of the funniest shows of all time.

Thanks, Corine.
Anyone else?
Saw it 4 times - the lighting is crucial - you'll be busy yet have a fantastic time.

Wonderful...I will be in tech for another show when this opens, lol.
I am willing to take on the challenge. Keep me off of BWW.
Where did you see it, Rath?

I saw it at Second Stage a few years ago. A terrific series of sketches by the wonderful Kathy and Mo (who are both really sweet and delightful people, incidentally). This show was sort of a "greatest hits" of theirs, mostly made up of material from their two successful off-Broadway shows in the 80s (which were both filmed for television by the way -- HBO? Showtime? Comedy Central? Can't remember). It was their first time working together in over a decade after having gone their separate ways to Hollywood etc....
It doesn't strike me that the lighting is too complicated during the show itself, but you'll have some LONG tech rehearsals getting everything set just right. Should be fun.
I saw it here in its original off-Broadway incarnation. I knew the girls, they comped me in for a preview, and then I kept buying more tix and taking people!
Margo - they were originally filmed for HBO, which was listed as a producer of the play as well.

I've been out drinking with both of them -- they honestly couldn't be nicer, funnier or more down to earth. Love them.
Margo, you're very competitive with me these days - first the CBGB thread, and now this - do I threaten you in some way?

Now, now, Rath, there's plenty of Kathy and Mo and CBGB's to go around for all of us
We'll just see about that.

Are you lighting Parallel Lives as well? That's a show that is going to be done in NY.

The show is called Parallel Lives: The Kathy and Mo Show.
