Passing Strange?

Is this show ok for a nine year old to see? I ask this bc my parents just asked me if its ok for my nine year old sister? She's seen Rent 12 times with me so is it anything worse than Rent? They are also asking me what is it exactly about? I can't descirbe it I hear its amazing but could someone tell me whats it exactly about? I hear its about a black man trying to find his voice (am I correct or totally off?)

SHould be OK if she has seen RENT. But you had better hurry. The grosses are slipping week by week and if business doesn't improve the show may soon be gone!

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
