Why was the song between "Whats Inside is Just a Lie" and "Identity" (I'm pretty sure in the playbill the song is titled Damages, or something like that) not included on the CD?

Yes, but sometimes people have a third deeper layer thats the same as the first. Like pie. Dr. Horrible

There's a lot of unfortunate little exclusions in the CD, within songs as well, but we're lucky to get a complete (and rip-able) recording with the film when it's released on DVD. When I saw the show the second time, I had gotten so used to the CD that the show kept surprising me with things I had forgotten.
