I've past dated Telecharge tickets before, but have never done it for a Ticketmaster show. H
What recent shows have you been successful in past-dating tickets to? Are there theatre you are aware of that WILL NOT past date your ticket?
Just Curious.

It's not up to the theater but to the producers of each show. It usually depends on sales.

Ticketmaster would not PastDate for An American in Paris. For some reason, I've always had better luck with Telecharge than Ticketmaster on these issues.

Past dating a ticket means you didn't use your purchased ticket, and you get to use the tickets any way. You aren't guaranteed similar seats, and usually they'll only allow attendance on weekdays. No production has to offer the practice. Often, it comes with the condition of same day.

I past dated Newsies last year, which was Ticketmaster. The experience wasnt necessarily pleasant (the Nederlander box office folk weren't the nicest), but I got an amazing premium 2nd row Mezz seat for my rear mezz ticket!

Bump...
I've never past dated through Ticketmaster, but I have a ticket for On Your Feet that I'd like to use. Is there a number to call?

This technically is not past-dating but I did switch dates for Groundhog Day via TM. I had to pay $10 per ticket to make the switch, and had to purchase tickets of equal or greater value. Because I had bought my original tickets early, prices had gone up so I was forced to upgrade quite a bit. Worked out fine but it set me back another $50 or so to do it. I don't know if they have similar fees, etc for past-dating.
I have generally preferred Telecharge to TM - they have never given me a problem (or fees) when I have had to exchange tickets for any reason, and when the tickets I exchanged to were lower in price they actually have refunded the difference.

I successfully past dated my ticket for Sunset Boulevard with TM. I already had a printed ticket so they could not do an exchange for me; however, they contacted the theatre and told me I could past date - which I did and ended up getting an upgrade in seats.

In June, I was able to past date Sunset Blvd Groundhog Day. Called the box office day of and both were very pleasant.
Sunset would only past date on a Wednesday. And GD was Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
