Good response.
Honestly, I'm not "hating" on Kathleen.
I just think that Kathleen is thieving, in this case.
I'm not denying Kathleen's talent.
I'm just saying that Patty Birch deserves the credit for the work she did.

I saw Raggedy Ann on Broadway in previews. Jon Larson and I had a mutual friend in the show, although we didn't go on the same night.
It was pretty dreadful.
I stayed in the house afterwards (at this friend's request), and after everyone cleared out, I got to listen to Pat Birch give the cast notes for the evening.
Ah, memories...

Ann still fascinates me... hrmmm
As for the original question I noticed that the credits for One that I Want say the choreography for the in show routines--at least the other week--were by some guyu who I didn't recognize--NOT Kathleen
I thought the opening number from "Grease 2" was inspired. It was the the rest of it I could do without.

One more thing--as was implied earlier isn't the hand jive a traditional 50s dance? I know they do it in other movies (Phantom fo the Paradise springs to mind which was 1974--before Grease because insanely huge everywhere).
Of course when they did Greased Lightning they used the traditional arm thrusts--btu that was the pisode I read the credits and saw Kathleen wasn't choreographer of the weekly routines
