No comment except that I hope this actress doesn't continue to have awards thrown at her for 7 seasons of whining on a garbage sitcom. Let's see if she can really act in the actor's medium.

"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
-bjh2114 (on Michael Riedel)

Has she done theater before?

I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt as far as what we'll see on stage goes; The Scene was written by Teresa Rebeck, who writes for great, real-deal actors. They're the only ones who can give proper voice to her work and interpret it in a way that doesn't make it feel too melodramatic, as it can often look on the page. Her writing assumes that it's going to be carried by a very capable actor. In addition, Second Stage casting is usually pretty strong, so I'm willing to bet they know what they're doing on this one.

A work of art is an invitation to love.

Agreed....this doesn't strike me as "she's big, let's get her."

According to Broadway.com, she was in the choir of "Don't Get God Started" at the Longacre back in 1987. Updated On: 9/28/06 at 09:34 AM

Her politics and personality are repellent. I bet she adores Ann Coulter.
