Scarlett admits she is attracted to older men — her boyfriend, actor Patrick Wilson, is 11 years her senior. She says: “Why do older men go for me? Because youth is very attractive.”

Boyfriend Patrick, who played Joe Pitt in the recent Channel 4 mini-series Angels In America, has just finished two movies, Phantom Of The Opera and The Alamo, both due for release next year.

Before they started dating, Scarlett admitted she fancied him and doing the chasing, saying: “There’s this guy in New York. I’m kind of pursuing him. It’s very new. And it’s fun."

Publicity about the guy has been sporadic at best...

I think that once the movie audiences see him as Colonel Travis in "The Alamo" and Raoul in "Phantom of the Opera" there'll be alot more women vying for his attention. Both those in the industry and "civilians".

From what I've heard from those who know him, Patrick is a low-key, down-to-earth guy who is well-grounded. (Any I right, Dollpop?) I don't think he'll forget his roots...or those he has met throughout the years. He seems serious and committed to his career. And, I imagine he approaches things carefully in both his professional and his private life.

Plus, he returns to the Stage in June for 3 weeks in D.C. at the Kennedy Center as "Brick" in "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof." (They're still looking for "Maggie"--if any of you want to audition!)

As for being linked with starlets...that goes with the job, doesn't it! LOL!

Honestly, I wish Patrick all the luck and happiness in the world... I really do. But I hope he doesn't forget his roots in theater and does come back to visit us on Broadway sometime soon. Granted, I don't know him personally, but he came across as being very humble and very grounded. Hopefully he stays that way. He has such a beautiful voice too, and we need that back here!

Ugh I can't stand her...

Ohh I really hope Patrick isn't done with Broadway. He's such an incredible performer and he has the most beautiful voice!I really am happy for him for all his recent success but I think his best work is on the stage and he should return to his theatre roots...asap!!

I went to a concert with Patrick last year and she was there.

So...Corine2, please clarify for me: you and Patrick attended a concert together...or you were at a concert in which Patrick was performing?

I'm sure they looked good together...he'd be a wondeful part of any pair. :o)

And, if you know him well: What on earth is he doing after the Kennedy Center this summer? Haven't heard any news about his post DC plans. Curious minds would love to know.

No i went to a concert at the Zipper and he performed in it.
He sang one song and was wonderful. I was there to see Sheri Renee Scott who was incredible as usual. I don't know Patrick i was just there attending the concert. Updated On: 2/22/04 at 02:58 PM

Patrick is gorgeous no doubt about it. I hope he comes back to Broadway.
