I really wish there were a way to find out if there are understudies on in real time, with the obvious exception of last minute announcements.
A friend of mine who is in another show suggested I call the box office to find out. I’m almost offended that she said that to me. As far as I know, there is no such thing as a listed number for a Broadway box office, and surely she knows that, too."
