She didn't come out after mine, unfortunately.

But it was raining a little, so I didn't blame her.

She did come out after mine, but it was in previews.

We had to wait a long time (the cast was onstage for notes), and she came out, was very gracious, chatted for a min. We did not have cameras out or playbills.. she was like, "after all of this I feel like we are old friends" We all took a pic, she offerd to sign the playbills (using her special silver sharpie). Other members of the cast came out too and were just as gracious. It as a great afternoon.

Patti habitually naps between performances on two show days. She has always been cognizant of the energy back-to-back shows require and compensates with rest and high-energy food as best she can. Her stage door absence is truly not a diva turn, but rather her way of ensuring she doesn't cheat the late show viewers.

Patti is extremely nice at the door.

If she is unable to sign, take pictures, it isn't because "she's Patti." It's because she cares about her craft and wants to stay healthy.
