The Acting Company presents Patti LuPone recreating the role that led to her first Olivier Award. Under the direction of Lonny Price (Lincoln Center's Sweeney Todd, Broadway's Lady Day), she is joined by a cast of Broadway regulars in this skillfully blended musical by Marc Blitzstein - a powerful satire set against the backdrop of townspeople combatting a greedy business man who controls the town.

This historic piece of theater is remarkably fresh today.
