This is asked a lot I bet. But I was just wondering if anyone thought Patti would come out the stage door on a Wednesday night show. Thank you =)

re: Patti stage door?

Better send it to her during the show to make sure she gets it in time.

Hahaha I love it!

re: Patti stage door?

Not sure if you were there tonight (Wednesday night), but she did in fact come out. Boyd Gaines & Leigh Ann Larkin did as well.

On the night I went (May 30), she came out...after an announcement that show would sign anything but would not be available for pictures.

Neither Boyd or Laura stage doored that night.

re: Patti stage door?

I enjoyed her at the stagedoor on 6/17th re: Patti stage door? She was in a GREAT mood, her son was there... I was the first person RIGHT at the side, upfront of the barricade. She smiled at me, looked me straight in the eyes and said, "HI!" I nodded and smiled back brightly. Before I could say anything, as she was signing my Playbill, she asked, "Ya like it?" I smirked and said. "No." She looked up at me, confused. Our eyes met. I tilted my head. "I loved it. One of the best nights of my life. You are amazing." She smiled warmly and winked. Then she proceeded to slide my Playbill up and sign the cover my glossy picture program that I was using as a "pad" for her as well. I didn't ask, I wasn't expecting it.

re: Patti stage door?

Is there only one show on Sunday? And does Patti come to the stage door?
She didn't come out when I went - well it was expected, I went (spur of the moment) on a Sat matinee.

Sorry if this has been answered already.

re: Patti stage door?

Yup, only a 3pm show. She should come out after the show, but sometimes she has places to go or she just wants to get home.

re: Patti stage door?

So is that no photos of anyone? No photos of Patti and the person getting the autograph (in this case obviously, myself) or no photos of Patti at all? I just would NOT want to upset La Lupone. I'd be terrified. And I'm going tonight so I just wanted to know what's the norm.

re: Patti stage door?

You can take photos OF her, just not WITH her.

re: Patti stage door?

She was really nice when I went. Of course that was a few days after she won the Tony so who wouldnt be in a good mood? Everyone was really nice actually. Laura Benanti didnt come out though. Neither did Tony Yazbeck. re: Patti stage door? Her son was there also and I asked for his autograph for some reason. He IS the offspring of the goddess of musical theatre so you never know...

re: Patti stage door?

I went on a Sunday and the entire cast came out. She was very nice but no pics re: Patti stage door?. As she stepped into her SUV she turned around and blew kisses. I loved it!

re: Patti stage door?

The image is hilarious, Patti charging through Time Square in an SUV.

I wanted to give a rose to Patti at the stage door - Is that ok?
I wasn't sure b/c then she would have to hold it while signing autographs....so should I?

re: Patti stage door?

There is always a mob, as I expected, but I got her to sign, real quick, then she took off in her limo. Good luck!

re: Patti stage door?

Cool ok! I gave one to Lea Salonga and she smiled thanked me and asked me to stick it in her back pack for her lol.

re: Patti stage door?

Patti always scares the crap out of me at the stage door. I'm just so nervous that I'm going to say something stupid, and that she'll kill me. I love her so much that it's almost made me Pattiphobic.

re: Patti stage door?

I felt the same way when I briefly spoke to her at the stage door, broadwayboy2631. Love the women, but she can be quite intimidating.

re: Patti stage door?

Its like when Judy Kaye came out of the Stage Door, for Sweeney, I was already to ask her question about "20th Century" and tell her I was a big fan of Ragtime" and all that came out was some sort of a squeek and a "hi."

WIll anyone come out during the Saturday Mat?
I'll have them clawing at eachother, like drag queens at a wig sale"
