"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

i never realized and i don't know if it was common knowledge, but in looking up paul winfield on imdb.com it asserts that "his partner of 30 years, set designer and architect Charles Gillan Jr" died in march 2002. it would have been great if his obit mentioned it.

I am so sad to hear this news.

Lately, I've been enjoying hearing Paul narrate the A&E programme, "City Confidential"!

Peace Paul.

A very under-rated and under-used talent. I always enjoyed his performances. Sad news, indeed.

PEACE.

Oh, no! This is TERRIBLE news. I really liked this man. He could play so many roles so wonderfully.

I am truly , truly sorry to hear this.

My most sincere, deepest condolences to both his family and friends.

Too young. Too soon.

Was anyone else's childhood jolted by Sounder? I will never forget Paul Winfield and Cicely Tyson in that movie as long as I live.

"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"
