It should prove quite interesting
The theater owners will have to pay this and on some of the salaries of the big boys it should cost them plenty. Naturally, the facility fees will take a big jump to pay for them.
I was wondering if those in the company of a show will have a tax assessed on their jobs along with the technical people. The question is who will pay the tax.
Evetually we will & these charges will really spike ticket costs. I think we would have been better with the doomsday budget. This payroll tax will cost us so much more than doomsday ever would. It could make the difference with a struggling show staying open or folding.
Any thoughts?

Oh my God! Do you ever stop bitching about taxes? Most Americans don't wail and moan every time they have to pay money to their own government to keep it afloat!
We all know you won't be affected by this, Rox. You'll complain about taxes and ticket prices and bash shows nobody has even seen yet, then inquire about full price tickets to them because you and "Mrs R decided to splurge". You'll make an incoherent post here about how much you and your wife loved it, saying "the critics had it in for this one".

I have to third PG2's sentiments.
You are a walking contradiction...

Nice to be able to get into a rational discussion about a real issue.
I should have known PG & Foster are incapable of that. All they can do is like little kids in a playground name call.
Now I see when I post something they immediately pull their little kid act. Why expect adult reactions from them. Now I see why, when they post I avoid the thread until another grown up gets on. Jazz, don't you feel so giddy siding with these guys. Wheeeeeeee.

It's true... all you do is complain. Literally.
It is astonishing.

LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
