....seems Edward Hibbert quietly left the company this past weekend to begin Curtains rehearsals.
Best wishes to Mr. Bartlett, who was one of the few highlights of The Frogs.

Peter's was definetly one of the highlights for me when I saw The Frogs, and he was great with his cameo in The Producers movie.
I for one, cannot wait to see Edward in Curtains.

Posted: 1/16/07 at 5:17pmi also saw it on sunday evening and at the stage door he seemed very calm and almost as if it was just another day.. then he told us all it was his last performance and to go see him in curtains.. he will be missed in drowsy chaperone but i'm excited to see him in curtains!

Posted: 1/16/07 at 5:37pmOh, wow. I was in the city this weekend and I won the lotto on Saturday night - the last ticket. I'm so glad I got to see Edward before he left. It's funny, I remember thinking when he came on, "Shouldn't he be leaving for Curtains soon?"
