I never saw him as Trekkie/Nikki but when they sang "When YOu Help Others" when I saw Q, I was very last seat in the mezz and he was like all up in my grill singing and actually scared me SOOO much. WE both shared a laugh as he went to the next person.

I happen to be one of his neighbors. I live kinda near him, he's in Katonah and I'm in Vista. (Both are a part of Westchester County.) I saw him as Nicky/Trekkie Monster/Bad Idea Bear #1 the second time I saw Avenue Q, which was also the first day that Barrett Foa was playing Princeton/Rod when John Tartaglia left, and he was pretty good as Nicky, except that he couldn't hit the high notes on "Schadenfreude," and when he's Trekkie, his voice is more of a tenor than baritone, but he's good at playing everyone else. So, I wonder who'll replace him?

Wait, are Trekkie and Nicky played by the same person? I knew it was Princeton/Rod, Kate/Lucy, so I guess it would make sense... never mind.

Yes, Nicky and Trekkie are played by the same person. Well, persons, since the puppetry is done by Rick and Jennifer (or their understudies)

Some news on the replacements: Leo Daignault with be replacing Peter as the Nicky/Trekkie and Brian understudy and Christian Anderson will be replacing Rick as main Nicky/Trekkie

It's possible. My info came from a current Ave Q cast member. But i did hear that because Peter did so much, they are hiring 2 people to take him over, so maybe it's Matt and Leo. Or maybe Leo is doing it for now and Matt will take over soon...

Sorry, MissNY, your info is not accurate. Peter is the only one leaving to my knowledge, and yes, Matt is taking over for him. What's this about Rick and John coming to Vegas??? HA! Um... yeah, not even remotely gonna happen. :) Would be nice, though!

??? Not sure what you mean by "Peter is the only one leaving" - Rick is definitely leaving July 3; he has announced it, himself, on his own website (www.lyonpuppets.com), with a link to the Playbill article released last week (and that's in addition to the BWW article posted last Tuesday).

As Therese said, Peter and Rick are both leaving a week apart. Christian Anderson, Matt Schrieber and Leo Daignault are all coming in. I'm not sure how permanently Leo is going to be though
