Hi Everyone,

Took my wife to the show for the 2nd time that night. It was also the second time we saw Hugh Panaro as the Phantom and we'll continue to go back as long as he stays...we'll find the money somehow! Does anyone know how long his contract is?...I read a thread that said his contact was renewed 11/2003 but does anyone know how long these contracts typically run?

The guy's voice/performance is so good that I think they should seriously consider making another recording of the cd. I can't wait to see the movie even though it won't be the same without Hugh as the Phantom. Why didn't they cast him again? I understand if it would take up too much of his time but at least put him on the soundtrack! lol

Amen! I adore Hugh Panaro! Last I heard his contract is until February 2005. I'm not sure at this time if he will be renewing. However, I suspect that with the popularity of the movie and the potential resurgence of POTO, there's a good chance he may stay. Or at least I hope so! :)
