Posted: 6/22/06 at 10:49amI have the first two and it's definately not on them. I don't remember seeing it on the third one when it aired on PBS. So I'm prettys sure it's not. But the Phantom tony performance is on youtube.com

Posted: 6/22/06 at 10:52amIt's not on any of them (yet, you never know if they might do a fourth), but it is on YouTube a few times. The quality of the online clip (and they're all the same) isn't that good, as the sound doesn't always match the video (Sarah sings onething while her mouth is a little ahead). I wish they would release it on one of those specials so we could see it in great quality.

"They only use clips from closed shows!"
I beg to differ. What about Chita and Gwen's "Chicago" performance on the first one? No, the current production is not the original, but "Chicago" is not a closed show.

Posted: 6/23/06 at 8:48pmI think they only use closed productions of a show. They had performances from a lot of shows that have been revived but none from still-running productions (no Phantom, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, etc...)
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)
