ditto amber! but then a do a double-take and realize that i still am not a fan of philly. not in the least.
but my fair lady? i have acually always wanted to see that performed. but i have always been a firm believer than it isn't a real broadway-esque show unless it's in new york.
hear my song; it was made for the time when you don't know where to go, listen to the song that i sing, you'll be fine..
i am from new york, but i go to college in philadelphia....as much as i love ny and have every intention to head back after i finish pursuing my BFA in musical theater, i must say that philly is an incredible place for seeing theater because it is sooooo much less expensive than NYC....i saw Porgy and Bess for 5 dollars, the pillowman for 10, and many many many others for similar prices...last semester, i saw close to 16 shows, which meant a show a week..i see plenty of shows in NYC, but there is a much bigger whole in my pocket....yes for better shows, but the shows in philly ain't bad. i'm uber excited for next season!!!
