Now these pictures look MUCH better. I want to see Mme. Giry damn it!
These show much more of the set. I think people are going to be a tad happier now...
Ugh..I'm not a fan of the sexy open puffy shirt Phantom. Is this a sequel to the play or the movie?

wow this looks better is right. I dont get why people have to be such nuts about this. Take the movie, first show, and this show as their own entities and let it go. Musically so far this sounds great.IMHO
There is nothing "nuts" about comparing a SEQUEL to it's predecessor. What would be nuts, is for one to expect otherwise.

im not saying its nuts to compare. But people are going bloody bonkers over this. I was intrigued at the idea for a sequel to POTO, cause i never expected ALW would think of it or anyone for that matter, ballsy move really. So far what Ive heard of the music i quite enjoy, so ALW already got me wanting to see it when it comes to the US and im not A huge fan of his. but hey just my opinion.
For ballsy read avaricous and desperate for relevance.

I guess I hit a nerve, sorry. I didnt say it was a smart idea. Only that i was intrigued that he even bothered to make this, and after hearing some of the music so far, I like it. Doesnt mean anyone else has to agree with me, doesnt mean they dont either :) cheers!

No raw nerve. Just that the idea of sequels hardly screams of originality.
Still, following in the wake of Annie 2 and Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public, I suppose it is quite brave to write a musical sequel...
(Hairspray 2 writers take note)

That's a lot nicer! I still loathe the new mask though.
I REALLY like Squelch, Fleck and Gangle!! 'Moulin Rouge' feel anyone? Can't wait to see it!!
