There's a set! Wasn't someone complaining that when they saw it in previews it had no set?
I wish this show a good run. My friend saw it twice and the audience was empty. He said there were 5 people at one of the performaces.
I hope they record this soon!

^^ I hear ya. I saw him in Boston for the touring company of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDREL with Tom Hewitt
It was great to see him in the role of Freddy (Norbert Leo Butz). he was great -though the Boston production was a tone down production compared to the one I had seen at the Imperial Theater. I was a bit disappointed!

Posted: 11/24/07 at 4:05pmI saw it on Broadway and on tour. I thought the tour cast (and i saw Butz in the tour) lacked the energy, power, and comic timing of the OBC. I also didn't care for the new opening number.

Jay, I posted my thoughts last weekend after I saw it, but since it's not one of the most well-known things around, I guess my thread fell through the cracks.
It was a totally enjoyable afternoon of Finn's music. There's no story or dialogue, and the songs flow from one to the next. I was not familiar with his music prior to seeing the show and he gained a fan in me. They're nice, deceptively simple, yet still hummable melodies with insightful and witty lyrics that both charm and devistate.
The highlight of the show was the 'Falsettos Suite' which was just beautiful beyond words. The 4-person cast and pianist are terrific and their voices fill the tiny space.
It's a total must-see for anyone looking to see an off-Broadway show during the strike.
For the record, it was full when I saw it.

Amboy99- look at Yankee's thread for the list of songs.
