Posted: 4/23/05 at 4:48amWhere does one have to look to find frames for broadway posters? Most broadway posters are 14x22 inches. It's nearly impossible to find 14x22 inch frames. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a specially made frame. Is there somewhere to get a cheap 14x22 frame?

Triton Gallery.
But if you wait till the Broadway flea market he sells them for 20 dollars.
I bought two last year. Sad, need more but that's all I could carry.
It was across from the Ave Q AREA.
John Tartaglia put me in such a great mood. He saw me and told Peter who had trekkie to give "corine kisses".
Trekkie went up and down my arms kissing me.
It still makes me smile.

Posted: 4/23/05 at 4:54pmIf you're in New York you can get frames at any Broadway shop with the posters (Theatre Circle for example). If' you're not in New York you should be able to get them on any Broadway merchandise web site.

Triton Gallery sells poster frames for $20 ALL the time - no need to wait until the flea market.
Before I moved to the city, I would always get mine custom framed, and it didn't cost much at all. Usually between $30 and $45.

After the great people on this board directed me there, I discovered that the Triton gallery also has some great plexiglass frames that fit perfectly & look good. I'll be picking up some more when I'm there this year. You can see them on the website

Now the London West End posters are another story! (a different size).

Posted: 4/23/05 at 8:19pmDoes anyone know if the $22 plexiglass ones at Triton have a mechanism on the back to hang them on the wall already attached?

Posted: 4/23/05 at 9:03pmYes they do! There are three holes on the top and three on the bottom for nails to fit in(heads). I have a large number and enjoy them because it dose not have a frame to take away from the artwork AND you can have all your posters in a row and not have to worry about the frame colors clashing with each other or the artwork clashing with the frame because you want the frames to match - etc.

Posted: 4/23/05 at 11:04pmThere is also the lucite Frames on Ebay. Search Lucite Frame or something like that. I found it under Theater Memorabilia.

Posted: 4/23/05 at 11:49pmlike I said above, they also sell glass frames with metal frames - either silver or gold for $20. They're cheaper than the ugly plexiglass ones, and they're the same price. I don't think many people know they sell these, but they do, and it's a great deal.
