Does anyone here know what company has the licensing rights to 'Pins and Needles' if it is available to perform? Has anyone here ever done the show? My alternative theatre troupe wants to do a political-ish musical, and the two were are really favoring are The Cradle will Rock (which I have found the licensing for) and Pins and Needles. Any help/info would be appreciated. musicalheaven.com doesn't have a licensing listing, and i didn't see it at TamsWitmark, Samuel French, or MTI.

PINS AND NEEDLES is available for performances. (According to my sources, it was done at Yale University in 2003).

However, I am unable to determine who controls the licensing for it as well.

One suggestion might be to contact the Drama Bookshop in NYC (dramabookshop.com) and purchase a copy of the script--they have EVERYTHING!

Surely, the script will state who the licenser is.

By the way, I saw a production in Boston in the late 1970s--and it is VERY funny--I'd much rather do that show than the dark CRADLE WILL ROCK!

GOOD LUCK with your search! :)
