Pippin 5000 Audience Rewards bonus points this week for shows 4/2-4/24

Hi everyone,

I was on the fence about going to Pippin (never seen it before) but I saw this offer on Audience Rewards and it sealed the deal.

For this week only they have a bonus for 5000 AR points for shows on Tues, Weds from 4/2-4/24 for tickets $138 and above. My ticket came out to $149.25 Doing the math (1000 points = $25) so 5000 points = $125 in Audience rewards points. Since I paid $149 and am getting back $125 worth of points, it's like I paid $24.25 for orchestra or front mezz. Hope this helps someone. I balked at paying full price when the reward was originally 2500 points but this special, and the fact that general rush is for partial view, is definitely a reason to pay full.

You can redeem 500 points and $30 for a lot of good shows but the allotment goes quick. Kinky Boots was an exception at 500 and $42 but it was worth paying more.

Thanks for the breakdown! I never thought of it that way - I just rack up points and search the cheapest redemption threshold. Seems to me that Broadway and airline ticket prices are one and the same - if you know where to look and buy early enough you'll pay a fraction for the same seat.

Yes, Audience Reward deals like this help minimize the pain of the service fees. And if you use the points for their special offers, as you mentioned, your points can go a long way.

I got a great seat in orchestra for $149! Looking forward to the other shows I get to redeem points for.
