This entire production apparently varies very differently from the Broadway production. When MTI got the rights to it Hirison and Schwartz took out alot of stuff Fosse added like lines (especially between Catherine and the Leading Player) the version on the video is also missing "I Guess I'll Miss the Man" the song that really sums up Catherine's feelings for Pippin overall. But it's true, it's better than nothing.

Stephen Schwartz has always been bitter about this show. If it hadn't been for Bob Fosse filming a commerical for it, it would have closed early in its run.
