pippin is also famous for the death of Irene Ryan (Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies), who played Berthe. I believe she suffered a heart Attack on stage during a performance and died from it.

yes. I believe it was aheart attck though I could be wrong. I do know that she died during a performance.

That is almost as creppy as the 'Judas' in a Greecian production of JCS who accidentally hung himself during the suicide scene. He forgot to attach the sfaety cable before a jump and actually killed himself by accident.

I saw that on REAL TV

I think it was a Mexican, or Spanish Cast show, and the actor got up and jumped, JUMPED and then hung himself, the actors got him down before he died.

Although they didn't announce that this was JCS, I just knew it was.
