Pittsburgh CLO doing "Mame" this summer.....who will play the title role?

Pittsburgh CLO is doing "Mame" in July. I wonder who will be Mame and Vera? Could Christine Ebersole play the title role again, since she all ready did it at Paper Mill not too long ago?

I'm so anxious to see who they'll get.

They might get someone more local (i.e. LENORA NEMETZ, please God) for one of them

Pittsburgh CLO usually will get a name for their musicals, as they always have done in years past. So, we'll see!

Well, we'll see what happens come next summer. I'm sure casting will be announced in May or so, since "Mame" will be in early July.

Oooh. I will be trying my hardest to fly home and catch this show...

"Your lyrics lack subtlety! You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!"

I live in LA and I'm going to fly out to Pittsburgh and see "Mame" in July. When it was at The Kennedy Center in summer of 2006 with Christine B, I had tickets to see it, but couldn't make it at the last minute due to a family emergency.

So, I'm looking forward to it.

Caught it in DC last year at Kennedy Center and I really enjoyed it. It needs to be done more often, since it's hardly ever done.
