Play/Musical Changes from Original

Isn't it crazy how much musicals change from say when they first opened to where they are now, Take Wicked for example, Stephanie J. Block as Elphaba. Pretty much everything has changed, The makeup, The Dress, The hat, Before it was brought to broadway. The songs too "Dancing through Life" was supposed to be "Which Way is the Party/We Deserve Each Other" and how Glindas dress changed colors from Blue to Pink. But not only in Wicked, In alot of Musicals, I was just wondering if anyone else know of any other ones in Wicked and in other plays

There were quite a few songs cut from Hairspray... and the version of "Miss Baltimore Crabs" on the OBCR is different from that in the show.
