That is classic! They must have been rehearsing the opening scene when Padraic had the guy hanging upside down.

It's a good thing the cops didn't arrive during Act Two!

It was actually crazy scene 8. It was the three Northern Irish boys (I play Joey) and we had our guns to Padraic's head as Davey and Donny were tied it. It was crazy and terrifying. They told us if we had walked out of the rehearsal hall we would have been shot.

That is crazy -- and very scary! It's a good thing you didn't start all of the carnage yet, or who knows what would have happened!

Hey...but look at the positive side -- it proves your acting was pretty damn convincing!

30 cops had us surrounded in a 2 block perimeter. They stormed us and got us on the floor with automatic machine guns. A SWAT team was supported by the Madison area police. "PUT YOUR MOTHERF*CKING HANDS UP YOU PIECES OF SH*T" they yelled at our producer when she left after the scene, none of us had any idea till we heard that that the cops were even there!

Then more SWAT guys ran in the back with automatic machine guns. It was terrifying and so darkly funny just like the play.

"The Lieutenant of Inishmore

Come see the play that fooled the entire Madison, Wisconsin SWAT Team!"

what a hook!
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
