Two of my favorite plays are THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE and SIDE MAN. They are both incredible works and worth reading even if you didn't have a report due.

Blue/Orange is very interesting.
Are you looking for something contemporary or classic? How about Death of a Salesman or, if you want to read the source material for a musical, Pygmalion, on which My Fair Lady is based?
"Summer and Smoke" by Tennessee Williams
"The Night of the Iguana" by Tennessee Williams
"Long Day's Journey Into Night" by Eugene O' Neill is AMAZING, a bit long, and extremely emotional, but worth it because it is so good
"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" by Edward Albee is really good, too, and there's a lot you can write about with it, much like "Long Day's Journey Into Night."
"A Bright Room Called Day" by Tony Kushner
The Glass Menegerie/Menagerie (sp?) by Tennessee Williams
