I'm going to NYC today to see Dear Evan Hansen, but I was wondering if I went too the box office for other shows, would they give me a playbill if I ask?

My old Waitress playbills were ruined and I wanted to get a new one.

Although I don't think all box office employees would necessarily have extras hanging around, this isn't usually a problem as long as you aren't showing up within half an hour of curtain.

I bet if you just hung around the Brooks Atkinson as the show is letting out, you could find a relatively clean copy sitting on a planter or a column on a curb somewhere!

I have done this before and almost all the box office's i asked had an extra playbill they gave me.I only get to New York once every year or two and I collect Playbills so I was excited to get the extras . I did go by way ahead of the Box Office official opening. Good luck
