Lakewood Theatre is kicking off its 30th year with auditions for Neil Simon's classic comedy "Plaza Suite". John Carpenter is directing. The production runs weekends February 26- March 11.
The play is comprised of three distinctly different scenes set in Room 719 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The show presents a wonderful opportunity for an actor to create a memorable characterization.
The script calls for: Six men and five women of various ages. The format of the play allows for possible "doubling" for a versatile performer.
Auditions times are:
*Saturday January 16, 1-5 p.m.
*Sunday January 17, 1-5 p.m.
Actors will be asked to read from the script. Resumes and headshots will be accepted, but are not mandatory.
The theatre is located at 2211 Old Hickory Blvd. in Old Hickory, TN. Check out our website at http://lakewoodtheatre.com/ for more information about us.
