re: Please spoil Lt. of Inishmore for me...

I suppose if you know you're never going to be able to see (and considering there's been so much chatter about it), I could see wanting to know what the fuss is all about. Though, I think I'd want to get my hands on the play and read it, rather than just being told what happens.
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

Still makes no sense to me. Just know that the ending is worth the wait.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I walked out on this worthless mess last week, and have absolutely no interest in whatever silly tricks happen later in the evening.

The real trick was getting the critics to rave about it.

Old Fashioned Boy is way off base regarding "worthless mess." I do not think ALL of the critics are idiots. I thought the play was brilliant - I did not expect to like it. Sorry you walked out and did not enjoy it.
