In the middle of Act I, Kaitlin Hopkins and Gregg Edelman are on stage just finishing up a number when the lights cue out then go out! The lights in the front of the house dimmed up so the audience wasn't in the dark.

Kaitlin and Gregg entertained during the lighting issue (which laster 3-4 minutes, maybe less). They were total sports about it. Gregg gave a shout out to his in-laws which were in the audience. Then Kerry Butler yelled out that her parents were there. Kaitlin said she was going to sing in the cabaret that night. Kaitlin then said "wanna hear a duet?" and the piano lightly played. Gregg grabbed Kaitlin's arm and they glided to the front of the stage. Gregg sang "We're going to sing you a song and I don't have an ad-lib!" and then they both went back downstage. It was hilarious.

This was my third time seeing the show and my fourth and final time will be tonight. It's selling out fast and lists are starting to form for standing room. Get your tickets NOW! (Cabaret is already sold out).

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
