Hey I just wanted to get 101 posts so I figured I would think of anything- umm if this wonderfull idea for a musical was ever talked who would you want to score it? I say Alan Menken. It would be fun to see at least.

Just as long as Richard Gere isn't doing any singing.

Well, yes, but Eliza wasn't a whore, so a musical about a foul mouthed, dental flossing, sports car driving prositute might be a little more refreshing, if not up it's to date with the times! lol ![]()
No, personally I don't like the idear. But that's personally, not that that means anything...

Well, hello....."Sweet Charity" ring a bell for anyone?
If that's not similar to "Pretty Woman" then I need to see both movies again. LOL

Posted: 5/31/03 at 7:00amIt's about a hooker who gets picked up by a wealthy business man from NYC (staying in California). He pays her a large some of money to stay with him for his entire visit. They fall in love with each other, but neither can admit it. It's a very cute love/sappy movie.....total chic flick (Man, I love those). LOL

Only if done as a musical it could be done as the screen writer actualy wrote it before disney stole it and changed it- where he never sleeps with the hooker, and she dies of aids, it was written at the height of the aids scare, I believe, maybe after the BIG scare, but anyways, it wasnt written as a happy ending.

That's the one thing I don't like about American films! The Producers are too afraid to make a movie that doesn't have some sort of happy ending.
I recently saw the original "The Vanishing" and believe me, it is very different from the Sandra Bullock version!
