Are ticket Prices for Previews less than during the run?

Unless the show's a complete stinkbomb (like Tarzan), no.

No, but you may be more likely to find a discount code during previews.

They're not always less, but a lot of times, shows offer deep discounts for previews in hopes that people will be attracted to a low price, thus drawing audiences to see the show. For example, The Pirate Queen had a $25 discount for any seat in the theater. Unfortunately, it did not find much of an audience. Xanadu also had $49 tickets for orchestra/mezz seats during previews. Now that it hass opened, the only discount I see on Broadway Box is for about $30 off the normal price - an $85 ticket.
