"Primo"/Tony Question

To anyone that might know...

Is PRIMO eligible for best play, or will it be strangely considered a special event? I thought Anthony Sher was brilliant in the role and I'm just hoping he's remembered this awards season. I searched around, and couldn't find any eligibility releases about this show, so any input is welcomed. Thanks in advance!

I believe it has been classified as a play. I really hope Sher is remembered come Tony time. His performance was simply amazing.

Munk, if memory serves, I remember hearing that it's elligible for best play. However, I also remember hearing that Anthony Sher wants no award recognition. That last part seems iffy, though.
