Producer Looking for Earth Moving Musical?

I am regional producer and I am looking for a musical to produce that has the social/ emotional (profound but relevant) claws like Hair and Rent, with a rock sound but hits home for todays audiences. I like the sound of BARE/Brooklyn/Rent/JCS. Any shows that have not been "huge" that fit this bill? Needs to be available to by the rights?

This isn't anything close to RENT but as for emtional musicals that aren't the greatest box office hitters, maybe Martin Guerre, or Scarlet Pimpernel. But they're are far away from RENT as anything.
