Does anyone have any inside information on when the amateur rights for "The Producers" will be made available?
Now that it's closed, I'm assuming it won't be that long away. thanks

Posted: 5/7/07 at 12:18pmRights for regional productions have started being granted. Pioneer Theater Company (the Utah theatre currently producing the first Les Miz) stated in the paper yesterday that they'll be doing The Producers this time next year. I wouldn't quite count on seeing it at your local high school just yet, but it's on its way.

It's handled by Music Theatre International. Check their website and they should be able to tell you when. I expect it will be at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre in the very near future, possibly after their next gig, (groan) Les Mis.
Just what we need: the French Revolution along with a fried chicken dinner. Hmm.
