Publishing my one-act play

Hey guys!
Two years ago I wrote a one-act play that has gotten one staged reading (directed by myself) and one production (not directed by me).
I want to start submitting it for publication, but am not crazy about huge licensing companies. I realize that most of these companies give new playwrights a lot of exposure, but I am weary because I know in some cases they take a lot of money away from the playwright and sometimes charge very high rates for plays to be licensed, and it is important to me that young directors should be afford to license my play.
So my question is this- are there any good small publishing companies that will publish my play out there? I've heard of some people publishing plays through Amazon Kindle or Barnes and Noble which I am considering, but am worried it won't get enough exposure. Another thing I am wondering is should I just keep submitting it to festivals and hope it gains exposure that way and then publish it later down the road?
Sorry for the deluge of questions. Any help would be appreciated! (Also apologies if there's an already existing thread on this issue).

Publishing through Kindle or B&N is solely for ebooks (to the best of my knowledge) and therefore would not allow for licensing.
There are a few smaller companies that you might be more willing to look at:
Playscripts.com and theatrefolk.com
