The reviews for Lennon have mostly been mixed, with a few being more glowing and a few outright pans. Since it's still in the out of town refining stage, for Reidel to zoom in to the blood in the water and attack the show for being like other jukebox musicals is disingenous at best. Especially as it doesn't fall into the usual jukebox pattern of well-known songs plugged into a weak story.
That's not to say that the show is perfect, but the outright glee exhibited by some reviewers at the possibility of Lennon failing is sort of weird to watch.
'"Contrairiwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."'
