Anybody know who has the rights to "Pump Boys and Dinettes"? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find it.
Also, do the actors have to be able to play the instruments? Seems like I saw something about that somewhere but I'm absolutely unfamiliar with the show so I could be completely wrong..

I hate to disagree, but the the whole point of the show is that the "Pump Boys" play their own instruments. There are four men - guitar, bass, keyboard and drums. The men have specific character types.
Doing this show without four real musicians as the Pump Boys is kinda like doing ONCE ON THIS ISLAND with white people.
