Hi everyone. The TWO(yes there's only two) community theatres in my city are doing Pump Boys and Dinettes and Camelot for their season finales. Do either of these shows have a role for a 16 year old female? If so, what are the roles(how big, etc)? Thanks.

Pump Boys & Dinettes has only two women, and they should be a little older - late 20's to 30's.
You're probably too young for the principal females in Camelot, but there are young women in the chorus.

Wow...someone is still reviving Pump Boys and Dinettes. I haven't heard mention of that show in over 20 years! Not a lot of substance there, but it's still a lot better than Camelot (granted, I only saw the movie, but hated it). If you have a strong voice and can pass for "older," you might be able to nail a part in Pump Boys. But stay away from Camelot. Eeeeewwwww.

Prudie Cupp of Pump Boys and Dinettes is the younger sister of the two waitresses in the show. I don't think her age is really specified.
Too young for Guenevere -- possible for Nimue in Camelot, or one of the smaller roles that will probably double with ensemble (Lady Anne, etc)...
Good luck!
