Since this is my response to everything, Taboo.
But seriously, I do believe it did push the envelope and that people didn't like it for that.
That's precisely why it rocked my world.
But how about The Normal Heart when it first premiered in the mid-80's in the heart of the AIDS crisis in NYC?
