Does anyone have any information on the Broadway Production of QUILLS....specifically Rocco Sisto who played the Marquis...I can't find much google-ing...I know he founded a Shakespeare theater in Massachusetts...he was nominated for the Drama Desk for Quills...but thats all.
Any info is greatly appreciated!

QUILLS never played on Broadway. It had a limited Off-Broadway run at New York Theatre Workshop about a decade ago with Sisto, Jefferson Mays (who went on to win a Tony for I AM MY OWN WIFE several years later), Lola Pashalinski and Kirk Jackson.

They definitely carry off-Broadway. Sisto did QUILLS in Seattle and was very, very good.

I don't think the library has Quills. They only get a certain amount of money and it usually goes towards filming the Broadway shows. When off-Broadway shows are recorded, it is usually because the producers put up the money to have it recorded.

I saw Quills at NYTW. It was a very intense show and very well acted.
