In the story about "Ave. Q" touring, mention is made of the regional theatre owners being "angry," finishing with; "when $$ on the line, regional theatre owners have short memories."
I'm out of the loop here, what would they have had to be angry about?
People are STILL going on about this?

No, they're not going on about anything cause they're asking what its about.
Well, Q promised they would tour which ultimently ppl say, led them to win the Tony for Best New Musical. But, after winning, they decieded that touring wasn't good for the show and wanted to do a sit-down in Vegas, which didn't work out too good for them. so now they're going to tour, but ppl say that some of the tour managers are still pissed at them, but chances are, ppl are still going to book them.
LOL. What?
Hell, nevermind.
Going on = talking about.
They made a deal with Las Vegas after they promised Tony voters it'd tour. It'll tour now, and the theatre owners will get over it and gladly reap the profits.
