As a Brooklyn native I have never been to any productions in Equity houses across the country other than Papermill Playhouse and of course broadway
Just out of curiosity, how are the quality of the productions that are produced at these theatres compared to say PMP?
I didnt know if there were any budget requirements for productions under AEA

I used to see shows at the Music Circus in Sacramento. They are pretty good. They had some fairly recognizable names. They were the first or one of the first to do Les Miserables. Andrea Rivette of Jekyll and Hyde played Fantine. When they did Gypsy, Vicki Lewis from NewsRadio was Mama. Mara Davi, who is from Sacramento, was Millie last year. Music Circus has a lot of tradition, plus it's in the round which makes any show interesting.
But I have been to another place where some of the actors where equity. It was hard to tell the difference if you know what I mean.
