Question...
Question...#0
Posted: 9/27/05 at 5:56pmOkay, this may or may not be a stupid question, but here goes. My dad sometimes gets free Broadway tickets through his company and he happened to get some for Spelling Bee this Sunday. I was all excited until today when he e-mailed me to tell me that the producers made an announcement that they were only allowing people of age 18 and older to go to that particular show! Under 18-year-old ticketholders will not be allowed into the show, even if we have had these tickets for months. I'm 16 and a half, soon to be 17 and I find this unfair and totally random. Is this commonplace for Broadway shows? I've never once heard of this happening. Soo... anyone know what the deal is here?
re: Question...#1
Posted: 9/27/05 at 5:58pmIt's going to be a performance for adults only...it's supposed to be raunchy, so they're not allowing kids under 18.

Aw man! That's kinda disappointing, as I planned somewhat of a birthday party type-thing for that night's performance. I guess they feel that people a year under 18 might not have the maturity to see the performance? Whatever.
Thanks for your help guys!
