Question#0

I read somewhere here that a show has to hav e at least a week's closing notice before the closing date. So how could shows like Carrie and Bring Back Birdie have closed so early on into the run? And why would the producers close the show that early on anyway?

I'm sure they did post closing notices before their closing dates... even if it was early in the run. The producers would close the show that early because it's terrible and not making money. They don't want to lose even more money by keeping it open.

There is a recording of "Bring Back Birdie." It is a rare find, and one to own if you are an avid "cast recording" collector. *think eBay*

And there seems to be tons of "Carrie" CD and DVD bootlegs. The show that most have never seen has become such a cult classic, is a phenomenom.
